Valdrith was once the wealthiest kingdom in the realm, thriving off the prosperity and labor of the surrounding lands. But hunger knows no class. When a starving girl, having lost her entire family, made a pact with the demon Vorrhuz, everything changed. The noble dead were cursed to never truly die—forever decaying, rotting, yet fully conscious in their agony. Now the elites of Valdrith feast only on flesh, their riches meaningless amidst their eternal torment. The kingdom remains adorned in gold, but its halls echo with groans of the undead, noble corpses who would trade every coin for a single moment of peace.
